Great stuff, thank you. Did anyone ever do a SNR (signal to noise ratio) test on social media? (assuming a definition of what signal or noise is).

I’d say it gets worse by about minus 7dB per year, meaning we dig twice as long through noise to get any relevant signal.

You indicate a person can develop a sensitivity to signals. So their allergy to noise will increase. Making their ratio higher.

Within 5 years they will dump all social media, unable to find relevant signals.

Social media itself will likely trend to broadcasting rather than communication. Just louder noises rather than actual signals
